Excellent that you are thinking about seperating your wants from your needs as there is indeed a big difference between the two. Your ability to identify and deal with and/or satisfy both desires will serve you well in your quest to achieve the highest rung of the ski racing "ladder" and also help you become everything you can after your ski racing career is over (most important!)

When I saw you ski at Big Sky @ 12 years old with my son Quin, I knew your mom and dad would spend a lot of money on your skiing...it was your rare combination of feet and knees and hips working as one...great job today!!!!I am very proud of you...and don't forget your roots in Bozeman, Montana!

Will, my advice, when on the podium, thank your coaches and ski techs....they deserve the credit.....I know you gave me a hand me down pair of GS skis and they were rockets!!! I am so proud of you...way to go today!
